Audi A6 New and Future Cars

The biggest addition for 2009 is a new supercharged V-6, the 3.0 TFSI. It uses an Eaton sources, Roots-type loaders with gasoline direct injection to 300 hp and 310 lb-ft torque. Performance figures are not yet available for the A6 with a US-spec engine, but we expect a 0-to-60-mph time of less than 5.9 seconds. (The European model has the sprint to 100 km / h in this period with a 10-hp deficit.)

Audi notes that this is not the first foray into the charge, the technology was on 12 - and 16-cylinder Grand Prix cars of the 1930s. Despite the company's recent love of the turbo, the T in TFSI is no longer exclusively for the turbocharger. As we have said previously, this engine will make its way into the next S4 in the current car normally aspirated V-8.


The new engine meets the Audi 3.2-liter V-6 and 4.2-liter V-8 on the list of available power in the U.S. even with the extra engine, Audi will make its plan to offer fewer model variations in the U.S., and is the limitation of permutations from 2009 A6 drives. The 3.2-liter engine is only on the front-wheel-drive sedans with a CVT. The new 3.0-liter will be in either sedan or Avant form, and only with Quattro all-wheel drive and Audi Tiptronic automatic transmission. Buyer wants the 4.2-liter V-8 of 350 hp will have a quattro and Tiptronic-equipped sedan. The list of engines that do not make our shores with two petrol and four diesel engines. We have to dream of an oil-burner.

As for the lighting, the 2009 A6 is to the outside through new front and rear reflectors, the use of an Audi at the end of the preferred technologies - the light-emitting diode. Redesigned optional LED headlights get daytime running lights, while the side marker lights and LED taillamps also.
