Mitsubishi Pajero with New Engine

Mitsubishi Pajero is a SUV Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV abbreviated, is a type of car, in conjunction with the ability to transport passengers and goods with the agility Pickup.


The fourth generation was at the Paris Motor Show on 30 September 2006. New interior and exterior styling was accompanied by enhanced safety with dual SRS front airbags and new side and curtain airbags. The Super Select 4WD-II system was retained, complemented by an improved Active Stability & Traction Control (ASTC) and electronic brake force distribution.

The engines have been updated with the 3.2 l diesel now produces 125 kW (167 hp hp/170) and the 3.8 L V6 gaining MIVEC variable valve timing to increase power to 184 kW (247 hp hp/250). Both engines meet new Euro IV emission standards. The 3.0 liter V6 is for the Japanese and GCC markets.

The new 3.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine with common rail direct injection has been increased from 160 hp and 381 Nm of torque to 200 hp and 441 Nm. With these new engine the fuel consumption dropped by more than 10% to a remarkable 9.3 litres/100 km, while CO2 emissions even further decreased from 271 to 247 g / km.
