Traditional SUVs have had a good run, but it looks like their best days are behind them.
The new "in" vehicle is the crossover, which blends carlike ride and handling with SUV utility and styling. They're offered in a range of sizes, from the seven- or eight-seat full-size Buick Enclave to the compact Nissan Rogue.
